Why Your LinkedIn Reach Is Low & How to Improve It

My impressions were low for months. Then I rewrote my profile. Everything changed.

Everyone says impressions are down on LinkedIn. I see the opposite.

Why?
Because LinkedIn moved from broadcasting to positioning with value. You need to define what makes you YOU first and then go all in.

I went from broadcasting successes to defining my unique value, voice and purpose and sharing actionable insights. The difference is enormous. My reach is up, followers doubled and I get approached for interesting projects almost every day.

Here’s how you can do the same:

1. Your profile is your personal brand and display area. Explain clearly who you are and what you stand for.
AI systems, recruiters who use AI and who don't, and people read the information at the top first:
*Headline
*First sentences of your About section
*Your Featured posts

Make sure they are clear and compelling with your unique DNA. Front-load the information.

Complete this sentence: I'm the [specific role] who helps [specific group of people] do [specific transformation].
⤷ After [pivotal moment], I realized [insight] because [deeper truth].
Write these sentences until they feel 100% right.

2. Your posts should match the above.

* Your visuals: Adopt a branding that stands out and that you love. You’ll be seeing a lot of it.
* Your tone of voice (record yourself to capture it. Also note down which words you love, and which ones you hate)
* Your stories are your case studies.
Go deep. Share your knowledge. Be generous.

3. Comment. Crucial. You're not a broadcasting service. But only leave thoughtful comments (never AI generated, and more than "great post") on the topics you want to be known for. Comment 30 minutes before and after posting, to get better engagement on your own posts.

If you do this, your reach will go up, not down. Promise!
