The DNA First LinkedIn System
When I first committed to posting on LinkedIn, my posts were almost invisible.
I’d message friends on WhatsApp, begging for a comment.
They humored me (and I’m still grateful for their patience), because I desperately needed engagement just to stay motivated.
But then I started applying what we actually teach at The Think Room.
Today I’m proud to share our new infographic: The DNA-first LinkedIn system. It's the same process I use, and the one I teach, so you can follow in my footsteps.
Here is what I did.
Step one: I defined my unique DNA. I got clear on what set me apart before ever thinking about the algorithm. I then went full in on my passion: How being uniquely you is the crucial factor in communication, and how you shouldn’t touch AI before you define what you want to say, what makes you different, and how you sound.
I captured my own voice by recording it during my “rants” about the importance of unlocking your unique DNA to stand out in an AI tsunami of sameness. I then asked Fireflies.ai to transcribe it. Now I have my own voice, in writing.
Step two: Become consistent, keep showing up, even when it feels awkward, or “too much”. I started posting every single day. Holidays? Weekends? Sick days? Not for this girl.
Step three: Let AI help scale ideas without losing my personality or my humanity. Once I had my entire voice and DNA defined in my DNA Key, I was able to use AI without sounding like a bot. Creating visuals also became much easier. Our DNA Keys are 50+ page documents with examples of our best work, mission, 2030 vision, words to use and avoid and much much more. But you can start with the basics.
Now, my mind is overflowing with ways to help organizations and professionals boost their visibility in this era of AI, without sacrificing what makes you (and me) genuinely human.
And: my reach is through the roof! 🙌
