The AI-ready communications workshop.
When people ask AI about your field, does your organization make the answer?
AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot are changing how people find information. Journalists use them for research. Policymakers turn to them for quick briefings. Clients and stakeholders ask them to explain industries, compare organizations and identify credible voices.
What these tools say about you depends on the information they can find, understand and reference.
Our AI Visibility workshop helps your team understand how generative AI describes your organization, where your expertise gets missed, and what you can do to improve the way your story is represented.
Why AI visibility matters
When someone asks AI about your industry, they may never mention your organization by name. They might ask who leads a particular field, which sources to trust, or what the latest developments mean.
Will your organization be part of that answer?
GEO, or Generative Engine Optimization, looks at how your content and wider online presence influence the answers AI systems produce. It considers your website, the clarity of your information, the sources AI references and the consistency of your public narrative.
For organizations working in policy, healthcare, science, sustainability or other complex fields, accurate representation matters. If your expertise is difficult to find or understand, other voices may shape the answer.
What we'll work on
1. Understand how AI search works
Learn what GEO means, how generative AI systems produce answers, and why some sources get referenced more often than other.
We look at the difference between traditional search results and AI-generated answers, including the role of real time search, source selection and citations.
Dive into what will help and hinder AI visibility and how creating content optimized for LLMs often means content optimized for actual human beings, answering real questions.
2. Examine your current AI visibility
We’ll set up a dedicated dashboard for your organisation, giving you a clearer view of how AI tools currently describe your work, which topics you appear for, where your content is missing and what needs attention. You’ll be able to see what’s working and where there are gaps, using actual results rather than guesswork.
3. Make your website easier for AI to understand
Work with examples of your own content to identify improvements in wording, page structure and information clarity.
We'll look at:
Clear explanations of what your organization does and why it matters
FAQs and explainer pages that answer real audience questions
Structured content and relevant schema markup
Specific, quotable statements that communicate your expertise
Language that works for people and AI systems while respecting your communication constraints
4. Look beyond your website
AI answers draw on information from across the web. Your website is one part of the picture.
We'll examine the role of sources such as specialist media, scientific journals, LinkedIn, YouTube, and relevant third-party publications. Your team will identify where your expertise should be represented and which external channels deserve attention.
5. Turn the findings into next steps
Work in groups on real questions and content from your organization. Draft clearer answers, discuss where they could be published, and identify changes your team can realistically make.
The session ends with a shared set of GEO priorities to guide your next steps.
What your team leaves with
